    Turkey's liquefied petroleum gas imports increase by 8.66 percent

    (MENAFN) Data issued by Turkey's energy watchdog showed that, in comparison with January 2019, Turkey's liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) imports rose by 8.66 percent to 262,536 tons in January.


    Turkey's imports came from Algeria, the U.S., Kazakhstan, Greece, Norway, Saint Kitts and Nevis and Russia, according to the Energy Market Regulatory Authority's (EMRA) data.


    In January 2020, Turkey's LPG production grew to 94,235 tons, a yearly rise of 14.52 percent.


    In comparison with January 2019, exports dropped by almost 40.26 percent to 9,536 tons in January 2020.
