Iran's gas usage increases from March 20-April 19
(MENAFN) Iran's gas usage during the first Iranian calendar month of Farvardin has climbed in comparison to the same period last year, according to National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC) Dispatching Director.
The daily natural gas usage by local, commercial and non-industrial sectors was 349 million cubic meters (mcm), while main industries spent 122 mcm and power plants used 142 mcm a day of natural gas, as said by Mehdi Jamshidi-Dana.
Jamshid-Dana said that, the daily usage by the local, main industries and power plants in the same period of the last year was at 316 mcm, 121 mcm, and 120 mcm, respectively.
During the mentioned period, NIGC supplied 719 mcm of natural gas, on average, to the national gas network.
