    World Bank provides Turkey with 353m USD

    (MENAFN)

    According to a declaration by the Development and Investment Bank of Turkey on Tuesday, June 2nd, it signed an agreement with the World Bank to improve conditions for formal job creation in the country.

    The World Bank gave 316 million euro (353 million USD) loan to the Turkish bank that will support refugees and Turkish citizens in accessing formal work opportunities in worthy companies in provinces with a high number of Syrian refugees.

    As stated by the World Bank project report, "It will offer beneficiary firms in project provinces greater access to financial resources and skills to enhance their capacity to expand the business."

    "As the World Bank, we are extremely pleased to support the project that will contribute to Turkey's economy," asserted World Bank country editor for Turkey Auguste Tano Kouame.
