    UAE, Iran continue sea trade

    The ports affairs director of Iran's Ports and Maritime Organization (PMO) was quoted by Iranian Fars news agency saying that the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Iran are going to continue their maritime trade.

    The official, Ravanbakhsh Behzadian, said that the sea trade between the two countries has been suspended since the coronavirus outbreak.

    He was quoted saying that "according to the new health guidelines and protocols, these business communications have resumed between two countries".

    Hossein Modares Khiabani, the Iranian Industry, Mining and Trade acting minister, said that the exports of his country at borders is triple the imports, and that there are no road blockades for exports.
