King of Jordan emphasized significance of quick financial recovery from coronavirus
(MENAFN)
His Majesty King Abdullah on Monday, June 8th emphasized the significance of rapid economic reclamation from the effects of the coronavirus pandemic to protect Jordanians.
During a meeting with local media figures, the King said that the country's economy is ready to recover rapidly, since the Kingdom maintained a low COVID-19 morbidity rate, according to a Royal Court statement.
His Majesty stated that preventative and precautionary measures against the virus must be maintained to keep Jordan as an attractive destination for tourism and business.
The King mentioned plans to enhance agricultural, pharmaceutical, and medical supply industries, while also concentrating on internal tourism and appealing to global visitors by promoting trail, medical, and film tourism within preventative and protective measures that reflect Jordan's capabilities to attract and protect tourists, the statement said.
