SunExpress ready to center on Turkish tourism
(MENAFN) On Tuesday June 23 SunExpress stated that a mutual scheme of Turkish Airlines and Lufthansa will discontinue its operations in Germany and center on touristic and home flights in Turkey.
Company stated in a press release by the airlines that the carrier will join all its fleet under one air operative certificate to reinforce its situation in Turkey.
The CEO of the carrier Max Kownatzki stated that "With shareholders of Lufthansa and Turkish Airlines, we decided to join all forces on our Turkey operations as the main carrier of Antalya and Izmir.".
Max Kownatzki added that SunExpress will persist to sustain Turkey's aviation and tourism sectors.
