Iran trades gasoline to Venezuela at market cost

(MENAFN) IRNA accounted that Bijan Namdar Zanganeh Iranian Oil Minister stated that the current gasoline cargoes launched to Venezuela were sold at the market cost to the country and were not for gratis.

Bijan stated that they paid a fair cost and offered the essential assurances for the future payment, counting that a part of the money has previously been obtained.

Zanganeh added that some reflect that Iran gave the gasoline to the South American country for gratis, which is incorrect; what we are doing is profitable, not donations.

Namdar Zanganeh stated responding to the United States sanctions on the Iranian captains who took the gasoline to Venezuela that it was not unanticipated; first, they tried to corrupt them, but they rejected their offer, then they intimidated and sanctioned them.
