Factory trial initiate for first Turkish-made electric train
(MENAFN) On Monday June 29 a senior official stated that Factory receiving trials have started for Turkey's first original electric train.
Mustafa Varank Industry and Technology Minister stated throughout the testing ceremony in the country's western Sakarya province that The Turkey Wagon Industry Corporation's (TUVASAS) workers continued to endeavor to complete the project, even throughout the novel Coronavirus pandemic.
Varank highlighted that thanks to these endeavors, the train has attained the testing stage, following the factory trials, and railway examining will start at the end of August.
Mustafa added that the train planed for intercity travel, can be made for 20 percent less than similar imported replicas, praising its high rate of domestic manufacture, counting its major control, monitoring, and climate and lightening schemes.
