Petchem profits trimmings 14.5 billion USD in a year
(MENAFN) Behzad Mohammadi the CEO of National Petrochemical Company (NPC) has stated that the petrochemical sector received Iran 14.5 billion USD in profits last agenda year to March 2020.
Mohammadi stated that last agenda year was marked with success for petrochemicals manufacture as making predicts came accurate.
Behzad stated that the petrochemical production arrived at 31 million tons last agenda year, 23 million tons of which was exported and the rest was complete on home markets.
Mohammadi reminded that petrochemicals prices dropped 30 percent on average last agenda year annual, adding that petrochemicals exports earned Iran 9.5 billion USD whereas home market obtained 5 billion USD of petrochemicals.
