Iran: 28 airport expansion plans to be applied 2021
(MENAFN) There are now 51 development projects happening in the country's airports, of which 28 will be installed by the end of the current year, according to Mohammad-Reza Zahmatkeshan.
Back in May, President Hassan Rouhani, Minister of Roads and Urban Development Mohammad Eslami, IAC Managing Director Siavash Amirmokri, and other officials installed two new airport development projects via a virtual conference.
The first project was the new takeoff strip at Ramsar International Airport in the northern Mazandaran Province; with the new runway, medium freight aircraft, counting Airbus 320, can land and take off at the airport.
The Ministry of Transport and Urban Development's news service stated that the second was the development of Sari International Airport's apron.
