Iran: Foreign speculation to be eased

(MENAFN) Though there are easier conditions and best encouragements than in the past, the specialists and economic activists believe that these are not satisfactory and it needs reassessment. They affirm that these situations are not well-matched with other countries in our region. Consequently, last month, in a conference with the Vice President, this matter was examined and Jahangiri demanded to eliminate existing difficulties once possible.

Now, Gholam-Reza Ansari, the deputy Iranian foreign minister for economic matters, states in an exclusive discussion to Tehran Times that this ministry has given its personal proposals to be open to Vice President.

Ansari stated, "Although tangible changes have occurred in the level of interest for foreign investment in Iran after the announcement of the new legislation by the vice president, we are trying to improve it".

He did not make any remarks about the amount of new investment but labeled the results of new rules, "very good" and added, "We should facilitate our regulations according to the regional conditions and the neighboring countries".
