    Iran's farming exports increase 6.8 percent in 4 months on year

    (MENAFN) On Wednesday July 22 an official with the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) declared that the worth of Iran's farming exports increased 6.8 percent through the first four months of the present Iranian agenda year (March 20-July 21), contrasted to the same period of time in the past year.

    Mehrdad Jamal Orounaqi IRICA Deputy Head for Technical and Customs Affairs put the four-month farming exports at 2.706 million tons value 1.69 billion USD and stated that the exports as well illustrate a 30-percent increase in terms of weight.

    Mehrdad Jamal added that last year, 2.074 million tons of farming products valued at 1.582 billion USD had been exported throughout the first four months.

    Shahrokh Shajari the acting head of Agriculture Ministry's Economic Affairs Department has put Iran's exports of the stated merchandises at concerning 7.104 million tons value 5.8 billion USD in the past Iranian agenda year.
