Iran, Uzbekistan discuss development of transport ties
(MENAFN) On Saturday July 25 IRNA accounted that throughout a conference of Iran-Uzbekistan Joint Road Transportation Committee held using video conference, the Iranian and Uzbek officials highlighted the implication of increasing mutual ties in transportation sector.
The conference was attended by Abdolhashem Hassan-Nia Iran's Deputy Transport Minister and Davron Dekhkanov Uzbekistan's Deputy Minister of Transport, in addition to Uzbekistan's ambassador to Iran, and the spokesperson of Iran's Embassy in Uzbekistan.
The Iranian deputy transport minister stated speaking to the virtual conference that development of economic relations connecting Iran and Uzbekistan has been always highlighted by the two sides' senior officials, and in this due, increasing transport ties linking the two countries is dangerously pursued by the Iranian Transport Ministry.
Hassan-Nia additionally declared that his country's willingness to transfer information and practice in the field of transport to Uzbekistan.
