    Macron hosts contributor meeting for Beirut, lifts 250 Million Euro

    (MENAFN) On Sunday August 9 Emmanuel Macron France's President led a virtual international donors meeting to hurry assist to Lebanon's capital city of Beirut, which suffered widespread damage last week from two shocking explosions.

    An entire of 250 million Euros (294.5 million USD) was vowed by all countries concerned; the Elysee Palace declared that France will promise 30 million Euro.

    On Sunday August 9 more than a dozen world leaders met afternoon through teleconference, and the president connected from the south of France, where he is on holiday.

    Two enormous detonations astounded Beirut Port last Tuesday following an abandoned store of 2,750 tons of ammonium nitrate accumulated in a storehouse there lighted.
