    TEDPIX falls 2 percent in a week

    (MENAFN) IRNA accounted that TEDPIX the major index of the Tehran Stock Exchange (TSE), which is Iran's most important stock exchange, cut down two percent in the precedent Iranian agenda week (finished on Friday August 14).

    The index, which had hit the record high of two million points on August 2, closed at 1.975 million points in the previous week.

    As accounted, the indices of Iran Khodro Investment Development Company, National Iranian Copper Industry Company, Ghadir Investment Company, Bank Saderat, Mobarakeh Steel Company, and Bandar Abbas Oil Refining Company were the main suppliers to the index's increase in the past week.

    TEDPIX, which had been experiencing an unparalleled tendency of increasing in excess of the recent months, practiced frequent days of fall in the past week.
