    Iran's exports drop 39 percent subsequent to coronavirus pandemic

    (MENAFN) Tasnim news agency accounted that Mohammad Lahouti Head of Iran Export Confederation has stated that the country's non-oil exports have refused concerning 39 percent because of the limitations reasoned by the coronavirus pandemic.

    Lahouti stated that the government had concerning 41 billion USD of non-oil exports on the agenda for the present Iranian agenda year (created on March 20), and thus far the figures for the first five months of the present agenda year (March 20-August 21) point to that the exports have dropped regarding 39 percent contrasted to the preceding year.

    Lahouti stated referring to the president's mentions on cutting economic dependence on oil that "The president has declared a reduction of 10 percent in the country's economic dependence on oil, which is unprecedented.".

    Mohammad stressed that nowadays, the country's economy is stood on non-oil exports, which is of meticulous significance.
