    Turkey's oil imports losing 11.6 percent in June 2020

    (MENAFN) On Monday August 24 data of Turkey's energy regulator stated that Turkey's entire oil imports dropped by 11.6 percent to 2.78 million tons in June this year contrasted to the similar month last year.

    Turkey's Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA) stated in its monthly oil market account that Crude oil imports, the category with the highest oil import quantity, decreased by 22 percent throughout that period losing to 1.65 million tones.

    In June 2020, Turkey introduced the uppermost quantity of crude from Iraq at 823,866 tones, Russia and Saudi Arabia trailed with 735,783 tones and 420,084 tones, correspondingly.

    EMRA stated that oil refinery product production reduced by 11.4 percent to 2.26 million tones this June, whereas diesel production was up 15.4 percent to 1.21 million tones, gasoline manufacture reduced by practically 53.6 percent to 208,036 tones.
