Energy Ministry launches 2,230 electricity provide schemes
(MENAFN) On Tuesday August 25, Reza Ardakanian Iranian Energy Minister stated in a virtual ceremony that installed 2,230 electricity supply projects with a total investment of 31.6 trillion rials (more than 752 million USD) in different prefectures athwart the country.
IRNA accounted that the talked about schemes were installed in Isfahan, Alborz, Chaharmahal-Bakhtiari, Qom, Qazvin, Tehran, Ilam, Kordestan, East and West Azarbaijan and Sistan- Baluchestan provinces on the juncture of the Government Week (August 23-29).
Gholam-Ali Rakhshani Deputy Energy Minister stated speaking in the launch ceremony which was held in Alborz Province that with the completion of these schemes, over 350,000 new subscribers connected the country's national network.
Rakhshani stated that there are at present 37 million subscribers that enjoy the electricity abounding by the national electrical energy arrangement.
