    Iran accounts 713 million USD deal deficit for fifth month of agenda year

    (MENAFN) Iran's customs office (IRICA) has rationalized its monthly trade figures with a presenter uttering that imports outpaced exports by 713 million USD in the month to August 21.

    Rouhollah Latifi stated that on August 29 that Iran's exports had augmented in quantity terms in the fifth month of the agenda year to arrive at 7.781 million metric tons with total value of consignments sent to additional countries beyond 2.162 billion USD.

    Latifi stated that was almost 3.5 times the weight of imports into Iran at 2.41 million tons value 2.875 billion USD.

    The official stated that China stayed behind the top importer of Iranian non-oil merchandise more than the journal phase as it took delivery of 2.195 million tons, or more than 28 percent, of the consignment worth 566 million USD.
