Condensate production arrives at 650,000 bpd
(MENAFN) An official with South Pars Gas Company (SPGC) stated that the gas condensate manufacture at Iran's giant South Pars gas field (in the Persian Gulf) has arrived at 650,000 barrels per day (bpd).
On Tuesday September 8 Hossein Shamshiri SPGC Deputy Head stated that "The equivalent of 650,000 barrels of gas condensate is produced daily in South Pars, part of which is sent to petrochemical complexes, a large part to the Persian Gulf Star Refinery and some is exported,".
Shamshiri stated that the corporation is at present operating 12 refineries that procedure gas shaped at the field, counting two facilities at stages 11 and 12 which came online a month ago.
Hossein stated that "Currently, the offshore section of Phase 14 has been launched in cooperation with Pars Oil and Gas Company (POGC), and the gas produced by its platforms is being used in other phases,".
