    Iranian, Afghan customs talk about joint subjects

    (MENAFN) IRNA accounted Head of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) stated that Iran and Afghanistan have place facilitating trade and customs relations on the agenda.

    Mehdi Mirashrafi stated subsequent to a video conference meeting with his Afghan equivalent that "Facilitating trade, exchanging customs information, solving border problems and developing transit are on the agenda of Iran and Afghanistan,".

    Mirasharfi stated subsequent to his conference with the Afghan official that "The two sides decided to prepare a comprehensive strategic economic document, considering the determinations of the two countries for strategic cooperation.".

    Submitting to the pilot start of the Iran-Afghanistan-Uzbekistan Tripartite Transit Corridor and the Kyrgyzstan-Tajikistan-Afghanistan-Iran (KTAI) Quadripartite Corridor, Mirasharfi reminded "This trend shows the serious determination of the Iranian Customs to facilitate transit through Afghanistan and connect Central Asian countries to international waters through the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman".
