Iran's yearly butter manufacture capability at more than 70,000 tons
(MENAFN) The deputy agriculture minister stated that Iranian dairy manufacturers have the capability to manufacture 70,000 tons of butter yearly.
ILNA quoted Morteza Rezaei as uttering on September 15 that "We have the capacity to produce more than 70,000 tons of butter annually and this capacity can be even increased,".
Rezaei reminded speaking on the sidelines of a visit to a dairy manufacture unit in Tehran Province that in spite of the fact that Iran is one of the largest manufacturers of milk in West Asia, there has been small work done in the butter manufacture sector, but the situation is receiving better in this observe.
Rezaei stated that "In recent years, with the cooperation of the Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Industry, Mining and Trade, we have launched butter production units, and I am proud to announce that shortly domestically produced butter will be on people's tables.".
