Black Sea gas manufacture to price cheaper than imports
(MENAFN) On Wednesday September 23 Fatih Donmez Turkey's Energy and Natural Resources Minister stated that the price of manufacturing gas in the recently found out Black Sea gas field will be more reasonable than present gas imports.
Donmez emphasized speaking throughout an restricted interview with Anadolu Agency's Editors' Desk that the current positive growths of the country's examination and drilling activities in the ultra-deep water Sakarya gas field in the Black Sea, which the Fatih drillship realized subsequent to now one month of drilling.
Donmez stated that "There is a high possibility that the current reserve amount of 320 bcm (billion cubic meters) will be revised upwards following the completion of test drills and surveys,".
Donmez exposed that the aim is to attach the realized gas to the national gas transmission network by 2023, which the ministry's stated that inferences will provide cheaper gas than the values accused for Turkey's present gas imports.
