    Iran Mercantile Exchange trades commodities worth USD2.69 B

    (MENAFN)At Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) over 113 trillion rials (about USD2.69 billion) of goods were traded in the previous week (ended on Friday), increased 39 percent from the past week.

    According to IME"s Public Relations Department, about 996.450 tons of goods were traded at IME in the stated week, recording a 55 percent improvement in comparison with the past week.

    The exchange sold 445,660 tons of goods on its mineral and industrial trading floor valued at USD1.54 billion, including 436,370 tons of steel, 7,535 tons of aluminum, 1,420 tons of copper, 120 tons of molybdenum sulfur, 15 tons of precious metals concentrate, 200 tons of cast iron, and 10 kg of gold bars.
