    Four Iranian oil fields in Persian Gulf increase 740 million barrels

    (MENAFN)According to Shana, last studies on the reservoirs of four Iranian oil fields in the Persian Gulf have declares that the evaluations of the in-place oil in these fields have improved over 740 million barrels.


    An official with the company stated that, Behregansar, Abouzar and Nowruz oil fields, the total in-place oil reserves of these fields have improved by 742 million barrels, according to the Fast Track studies carried out by the Iranian Offshore Oil Company (IOOC) on Hendijan, in comparison to the recent official study carried on the fields and has came on at 9.9 billion barrels.

    The stated studies have been accomplished in cooperation with proficient domestic companies in less than nine months and with standard monthly progress of more than 11 percent, declared Ali Khajavi.

    He further said that, the recent findings stated that the total extractable oil from the stated fields has improved by 217 million barrels to stand at more than 3.2 billion barrels.
