    Online shopping expenditures increases 85 percent in Turkey in 2020

    (MENAFN)Association of E-Commerce Operators (ETID) showed that online shopping costs rose 8 percent annual in Turkey previous year as the Coronavirus pandemic has changed shopping habits of people.

    On Friday, Emre Ekmekci, chairman of the association stated that "E-commerce volume is expected to reach $34 million in 2020."

    He further declared that registering high enlargement in the previous year with the pandemic effect, Turkish e-commerce sector is estimated to hit USD54 million the current year.

    He added that supermarket was the most privileged category previous year as lockdown measures lead consumers shop online.
