    Iran trades 122.8 million tons of non-oil commodities

    (MENAFN)The head of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) stated that over 122.8 million tons of non-oil commodities valued at USD58.7 billion were traded by Iran in the first 10 months of this Iranian year.

    Mehdi Mir-Ashrafi declared that about 94.541 million tons valued at USD28.063 billion was the share of exports and about 28.249 million tons worth USD30.639 were the imported commodities, of the total volume of the country’s non-oil trade in the stated period

    The exports of non-oil goods in this period dropped by 17.7 percent and 20 percent in terms of weight and value, respectively, compared to the previous year same time of spam, he further said.

    He added that the number, increased extensively compared to the last calendar month (December 21, 2020-January 19, 2021), stressing that the upward trend is estimated to continue in the coming months.
