    Production of tires increases in Iran 20 percent

    (MENAFN)Production of tires in Iran increased 20 percent in the first ten months of the current Iranian year, in comparison with the previous year same time of span.

    Over 225,269 tons of tires have been produced in the ten-month period of the current year.

    A 20-percent increase has been also accomplished via the production of 20.913 million tires.

    Over 132,741 passenger car tires were produced in the stated period, increasing 24-percent, according to reports.

    About 20,695 tons of van tires were produced, recording a nine-percent increase.
