Turkish Central Bank to keep interest volumes unaffected at 17 percent
(MENAFN)Anadolu Agency made survey that includes a panel of economists that indicate the Turkish Central Bank to keep interest volumes unaffected at 17 percent.
The second Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) assembly of the year will take place next Thursday to report declarations about the bank's decision on interest rates.
Only six economists estimated an increase in interest volumes, averaging amid 0.75 percentage points and 1.00 percentage points, between the 21 economists, while the rest foresee no change in interest volumes.
In its last assembly on Jan. 21, the Central Bank kept its one-week repo volume – also called the bank's policy rate – steady at 17 percent, keeping it unaffected.
