Iran to launch 23 development projects in mines, mining industries
(MENAFN)The association will is going to launch 23 development projects in mines and mining industries soon, according to head of Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO).
The mentioned projects valued at USD55 million will offer direct jobs for 1,053 persons and indirect jobs for 2,655 persons, stated Vajihollah Jafari.
The official further declared that the stated projects will be operated in Kerman, Isfahan, East Azarbaijan, and Hormozgan provinces, of the 23 projects, 13 are carried out by the National Iranian Copper Industries Company (NICIC).
The organization’s top 10 targets to be after some programs for domestic production of parts and equipment utilized in the mining sector in addition to indigenizing required technology of this sector, according to the previous head of IMIDRO, which is the country’s major state-owned holding active in the mining sector.
