    Turkey managed current account deficit of USD36.7B

    (MENAFN)According to the Turkish Central Bank, among pressure from the Coronavirus pandemic, Turkey managed a current account shortfall of USD36.7 billion in the previous year.

    The bank further declared that the number increased from an excess of USD6.76 billion the preceding year, with revisions.

    The virus increased foreign trade gap as cutting the country's services and primary profits previous year.

    The data further stated that the balance recorded a USD3.2 billion shortfall, an increase of USD473 million from the same month of the last year in December 2020.
