    Turkish Treasury Ministry holds auctions to borrow from domestic markets

    (MENAFN)An official stated that the Turkish Treasury scrounged around 7.43 billion Turkish liras (USD1.05 billion) from domestic markets.

    Around 447 million Turkish liras (USD63.13 million) in 413-day zero-coupon bonds – reopen, the second issuance – were vended in the first auction.

    The Treasury bill is going to be set on Wednesday and developed on April 13, 2022. The amount of tender stood at 1.33 billion Turkish liras (USD187.8 million) with a 33.6 percent accepted/tendered volume.

    The term volume for the government bonds reached 17.81 percent, while the yearly simple and compound interest volumes stood at 15.70 percent and 15.54 percent, respectively.
