    Iran announces decline in country’s aviation industry revenues

    (MENAFN)A decrease of USD76-million in the country’s aviation industry revenues in 2020 in light of the Coronavirus pandemic restrictions was proclaimed by Head of Iran Airports and Air Navigation Company (IAC).

    The IAC Office of Public Relations stated that Siavash Amirmokri, the air passenger numbers in Iran declined by 52 percent in 2020.

    The country’s air traffic decreased by 67 percent in the stated period.

    In spite of the situation affected by the Coronavirus pandemic IAC set to launch 28 major development projects in 14 different airports across the country over the precedent year, Amirmokri further stated during a gathering of aviation industry managers at the place of IAC.
