    Iran, Uzbekistan discuss boosting trade exchanges

    (MENAFN)Head of Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture (ICCIMA) Gholam-Hossein Shafeie gathered with Uzbekistan’s Deputy Foreign Minister Furqat Sadiqov to discuss ways of improving collaboration amid both countries’ private sectors.

    According to the portal of ICCIMA, the representatives talked about expanding cooperation as a positive step toward improving both countries’ trade exchanges.

    Uzbekistan plans to improve trade with Iran within the next five years, Sadiqov further stated, adding that he hope that Iran-Uzbekistan trade would stand at USD1 billion by that time,

    He highlighted some of the most significant areas for collaboration amid both parties including tourism, agriculture, mining, pharmaceuticals, and technology, stressing the large growth of investment companies in Uzbekistan.
