    Saudi Arabia’ funds of investment increase by 26 percent

    (MENAFN)The Capital Market Authority (CMA) stated that the total amount of assets set by investment funds in Saudi Arabia improved by 26 percent annual to SR442 billion (USD117.87 billion) in last year.

    The figure of investment funds in the Kingdom improved to 691 from 607 in 2019, with 254 public funds and 437 private funds.

    Investment fund profits set of capital gains — that is, incomes resulting from an improvement in the prices of the invested securities as well as the dividend profits rewarded.

    The total worth of private investment funds improved by 23 percent to SR232.3 billion 2020. The lasting 47 percent increased by 31 percent to a total worth of SR209.7 billion (USD55.91 billion).
