    Turkish Treasury borrows USD766.8M from domestic markets

    (MENAFN)According to an official statement, the Turkish Treasury borrowed 6.07 billion Turkish liras (USD766.8 million) from domestic markets.

    Around 2.63 billion Turkish liras (USD332.2 million) in five-year Turkish lira overnight reference volume (TLREF) were sold in the first auction, according to the Treasury and Finance Ministry.

    The total tender stood at 4.06 billion Turkish liras (USD512.9 million), with a 64.8 percent accepted/tendered volume.

    The term volume of 1,757-day government bonds reached at 4.43 percent, as the yearly simple and joint interest volumes came on at 17.73 percent and 18.94 percent, stated the treasury.
