    Iran: power plants receive 167 MCM of gas per day on average in 1398

    (MENAFN)Gas provides to the country’s power plants and major industries rose eight billion cubic meters in the past Iranian year, according to the dispatching director of National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC).

    The power plants obtain 167 million cubic meters of gas per day of range of 1398 that improved to 181 mcm in 1399 in the previous year.

    Iran’s daily gas transmission capacity is going to raise 110 million cubic meters via operating the sixth and ninth national gas transferring pipelines, stated the managing director of Iranian Gas Engineering and Development Company (IGEDC).

    The implementation of these huge gas transferring projects, as increasing the constancy of gas flow, is going to improve the country's gas transferring capacity by 110 million cubic meters per day, with the plan of stable and dependable gas transmission to the southwest, west and northwest of the country and improve gas exports, further declared Bahram Salavati.
