    Iran collects USD45.7B of tax revenues in 2020

    (MENAFN)Finance and Economic Affairs Minister Farhad Dejpasand stated that Iran collected 1.92 quadrillion rials (about USD45.7 billion) of tax revenues in the last Iranian year of 1399 (ended on March 20), stating that the country’s annual tax income plan has come true by 107 percent.

    ILNA reported, he declared that tax revenues amounted for 84 percent of the total funding made in diverse sectors in the last year.

    More than 100 trillion rials (USD2.38 billion) of deferred taxes were collected in the last Iranian year, the official added.

    About 2.08 quadrillion rials (USD49.5 billion) value of a variety of bonds were remarked 2020, the revenues of which were used to offset the year’s budget deficit.
