    India highlights its commitments for improvement of Iran’s Port

    (MENAFN)IRNA reported that Indian Minister of Ports, Shipping and Waterways Mansukh Mandaviya has underlined his country’s determination for fulfilling its commitments for the development of Iran’s southeastern Chabahar Port.

    Mandaviya highlighted the good neighborliness and amicable ties amid both countries and hailed the development of cooperation in the future, especially through Chabahar Port, during a meeting with the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in India Ali Chegini.

    Chegini and Mandaviya talked about the capacities of collaboration amid both countries in the field of ports and maritime in addition to measures applied to realize these opportunities, especially in Chabahar Port.

    The Indian side stressed the views of the participants in "Chabahar Day" event and underlined the significant role of the Iranian port as a suitable route for the transit of goods to Afghanistan and Central Asia.
