    Egypt’s non-oil exports stand at USD7.4B in 2021

    (MENAFN)According to Trade and Industry Minister Nevin Jameh, Egypt’s non-oil exports increased 7.2 percent in the first three months of the current year standing at USD7.4 billion, in comparison to the previous year same time span.

    She further stated that “This tangible increase came despite the current circumstances related to the Coronavirus crisis that the whole world is suffering from, thanks to the efforts made by the government to support the production and export sectors during the crisis.”

    Egyptian imports witnessed an improvement in the first three months of the current year to USD16.9 billion, in comparison to USD16.67 billion in the previous year same time.

    These positive indicators helped achieving 1 percent drop in the trade balance deficit to USD9.5 billion, in comparison to USD9.6 billion in the previous year same time span.
