    Iran sets foreign trade on agenda at improvement of 21-percent

    (MENAFN)IRNA quoted Head of Iran’s Trade Promotion Organization (TPO) as saying that country set a 21-percent rise in foreign trade on the agenda for this Iranian year.

    Two scenarios were set for the current year with concerning the country’s foreign trade, one is the case in which Iran is going to get to an agreement with the world powers on the nuclear deal and the US sanctions are removed and the other one is the remaining of the US sanctions.

    Zadboum further stated that “In the worst-case scenario we will continue the plans implemented in the previous year,” adding that “Over the past year, the outbreak of the Coronavirus and the escalation of sanctions affected our foreign trade but we managed to pull through.”

    A 21-percent growth for the country’s foreign trade is achievable if the conditions are right, stated the official.
