    Dubai real-estate transactions increase in March 2021 as investors returned to sector

    (MENAFN)Dubai real-estate transactions increased 43 percent yearly in March 2021 to 6,590 as investors returned to the sector.

    WAM reported that the rate of sales increased 40 percent to 22.9 billion dirhams (USD6.2 billion), according to the real estate bulletin issued by Dubai Land Department (DLD). The figure of transactions was the second highest monthly amount since February 2017.

    The bulletin underlined the remained attractiveness of the real estate sector to new investors, by 5,683 entering the market in first three months 2021, introducing 64 percent of the total amount of investors in the stated time span.

    The rate of commissions accomplished by active real estate brokers stood at 392 million dirhams in the first three months of 2021, while 143,374 rental contracts were set in the first three months of 2021, 57 percent of that were new contracts and 43 percent were renewed.
