    EU foreign trade balance announces USD22.9M extra in March of 2021

    (MENAFN)According to the bloc's statistical office, the EU foreign trade balance witnessed a €18.8 billion (USD22.9 billion) extra in March of current year.

    The number decreased from €28.3 billion in March 2019, stated Eurostat.

    Exports from the EU rose by 10.6 percent to €195.1 billion, as imports stood at €176.3 billion, increased 19 percent, in March on a yearly basis.

    Intra-EU27 trade increased 23.5 percent to stand at €303.7 billion annual in the same period.

    China was the bloc's main trade partner, with €54.7 billion (aboutUSD66 billion) in imports from the union and €105.1 billion in exports.
