    Turkish Treasury, Finance Ministry marks government bonds through 2 auctions

    (MENAFN)An official statement showed that the Turkish Treasury borrowed 1.9 billion Turkish liras (USD230 million) from domestic markets.

    About 685 million Turkish liras (USD82 million) in one-year fixed coupon bonds – semiannually, seventh-issuance – were sold in an auction, according to the Treasury and Finance Ministry.

    The Treasury bills are going to be settled on Nov. 9, 2022. The tender amounted at 1.4 billion Turkish liras (USD160 million) with a 49.5 percent accepted/tendered volume.

    The term volume of 532-day government bonds was accepted at 8.9 percent, as the yearly simple and compound interest volumes stood at 17.80 percent and 18.59 percent, respectively.
