    Turkey: Treasury to repay USD2.3B in external debts

    (MENAFN)According to the Treasury and Finance Ministry, the Turkish Treasury will repay debts valued at 114.3 billion Turkish liras (USD13.45 billion) in the June-August period.

    The Treasury is going to repay 19.5 billion Turkish liras (USD2.3 billion) in external debts, including 8.5 billion Turkish liras (USD1 billion) in interest payments.

    It also estimated 94.8 billion Turkish liras (USD11.17 billion) of domestic debt redemption in the coming three months -- with around 32.7 billion Turkish liras (USD3.85 billion) of this total in interest payments, as the rest in principal payment.

    The Treasury is going to have a loan of 96 billion Turkish liras (USD11.3 billion) from domestic markets in the coming three months.
