    Iran’s value of export to Syria stands at USD49M in 2021

    (MENAFN)According to a director in Iran’s Trade Promotion Organization (TPO), Iran’s value of export to Syria reached USD49 million in the first two months of this Iranian year that stood at 73 percent higher than the number for the last year same time span.

    Syria took place 14th in Iran's most important export markets, further declared Soheila Rasoulinejad, the director of the Syria Desk in TPO’s Office of Arabian Countries.

    The official added that elements and parts of steam turbines valued at USD30 million, equal to 60 percent of the exports, amounted at the largest share of exports to this country, followed by commodities such as electrical conductors, iron or steel rods, and baby milk powder.

    She also put Iran’s import from Syria and USD2 million during the stated period.
