    Foreign currency, gold reserves increase 2.3 percent in May

    (MENAFN)Official data showed that the Turkish Central Bank’s reserves stood at USD92 billion at the end of the last month.

    The bank’s international reserves and foreign currency liquidity report declared that total reserve assets witnessed a monthly improvement of 4.6 percent.

    Foreign currency reserves – in convertible foreign currencies – amounted at USD46.5 billion increased 2.3 percent on a monthly basis.

    The bank’s gold reserves – including gold deposits and, if appropriate, gold swapped – increased 7.4 percent from April to come on at USD43.9 billion.
