Iranian president launches 6 major industrial, mining projects worth USD851M
(MENAFN)According to IRNA, President Hassan Rouhani launched six major industrial and mining projects valued at 35.77 trillion rials (over USD851 million) in four provinces via video conferencing.
The stated projects were launched in Zanjan, Yazd, Hormozgan, and East Azarbaijan provinces in the 78th series of inauguration ceremonies since the last Iranian calendar year.
A steel ingot production unit, a tile and ceramic production plant, a tobacco processing unit, and a sponge iron pelletizing unit were among the launched projects.
Senior industry officials including Industry, Mining, and Trade Minister Alireza Razm Hosseini and some officials from the mentioned provinces were present at the ceremony.
