(MENAFN)According to the Turkish Central Bank, Turkey's external assets stood at USD255 billion at May-end, increased 6.5 percent from 2020.

The country's liabilities against non-residents in the same period dropped 10.8 percent to USD582 billion.

The net international investment position (NIIP) – the difference amid external assets and liabilities – was minus USD327 billion in May, versus minus USD413 billion at the end of the previous year.
