    Turkey’s tax revenues in 1st 6 months increase to USD80B

    (MENAFN)According to the Treasury and Finance Ministry, the Turkish central government's budget balance issued a shortfall of 32.5 billion Turkish liras (USD4.1 million) in the January-June period of 2021.

    The figure rose from a gap of 109.5 billion Turkish liras (about USD16 billion) in the previous year same time span, near the height of the Coronavirus pandemic.

    In the first half of the year, Turkey's budget revenues increased 38.5 percent on a yearly basis to 630.8 billion Turkish liras (USD80 billion).

    The country's budget expenditures stood at 663.4 billion Turkish liras (USD84 billion) in the January-June period of the current year, increased 17.4 percent annual.
